PAST EVENTS

· This past week coaches Basketball Training School saw 15 new
coaches start the process of becoming certified in basketball.

· Rockland County Bowling Competition at New City Bowl this past weekend saw over 100 athletes compete for the gold!



GENERAL INFORMATION


· If you have any athletes that might be in need of a motor activities program, please be aware that we are offering an Adaptive Event on November 19th. Contact Linda for details @ (845) 878-9722.

· We are hosting a Unified Bowling Tournament in Westchester. Contact us if you have ANY interested S.O. bowlers. The tournament will be held Sunday Dec. 11, 2005 at White Plains Bowl at 9:30 am. Registrations for this event will be mailed out today. The turn around time for this registration is short, so please look for it in the mail! We have limited space available and efforts will made to accommodate all interested parties, however, entries will be prioritized on a first received basis!

· Rockland County will be hosting a fundraiser on January 29th, 2006 at the Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack. The play being presented will be “Moon over Buffalo”. Tickets will go on sale sometime in November.

· Plans are on the way for the 17th Annual Bresnan Bike Tour. The riders leave from Patterson, NY and finish over 200 miles later in Bennington, VT. The tour will take place June 2 – 4. For more information you can contact Maria Madero at the Hudson Valley office.
