Update

Welcome to week one, of two, Spring Games! It’s sure to be a pleasant environment ‘round here….just don’t get too close.
If we can just get the sun to stay out and all goes according to plan, well, it just might be successful for the 1,000 plus athletes scheduled to attend over the course of the next 10+ days!
Here’s to hoping!


UPCOMING EVENTS

May 6, 2006 – Spring Games WEST – Rockland, Orange, Ulster &
Sullivan Counties
HOSTED at WEST POINT

West Point has MANDATED that point of entry for the day of the event be the Stony gate. All participants, family members, spectators, volunteers, etc. MUST enter through the Stony gate. Maps HAVE BEEN sent with parking/security passes showing basic entry into the facility via Stony. West Point staff has assured us signage will be posted on campus directing you folks down to the track.


May 13, 2006 – Spring Games EAST – Dutchess, Putnam & Westchester
Counties
HOSTED at MAHOPAC HIGH SCHOOL

As always, the Healthy Athletes program will be in full
swing supported by Dr’s Seagriff (DDS) and Hoffman
(podiatry). Please try to be supportive of these
physicians and their colleagues that give up their time
annually for the athletes.

June 3, 2006 – Metro Tournament – Manhattan
Registrations will be mailed to your respective agency
representative. If you would rather it be emailed to
you, let us know, that, too can be arranged! Should you
have interest in attending, please return the completed
registration posthaste.

June 15-18 – SONY Summer Games – Albany – NOMINATIONS DUE!
If you have not done so already, please get your
nominations in to this office immediately! If you need
nomination forms, contact us at (845) 878-9722. If you
are planning to send athletes to Summer Games, we
need to know NOW! Do not hesitate and let the
opportunity pass your athletes by!

SEPTEMBER 9, 2006 – Regional Fall Games @ FDR State Park.



GENERAL INFORMATION

· Plans are on the way for the 17th Annual Bresnan Bike Tour. The riders leave from Patterson, NY and finish over 200 miles later in Bennington, VT. The tour will take place June 9-11. *** PLEASE NOTE THIS DATE CHANGE! For more information you can contact Maria Madero at the Hudson Valley office.
