November 9 & 10 - Coaches Basketball Training School in Mt. Kisco
and Mt. Pleasant. Registration deadline is
November 4th.
November 12 - Rockland County Bowling Competition at New City
Bowl.
November 19 - Adaptive Games/MATP at J.F.K. in Somers.
PAST EVENTS
· This past weekend, the Hudson Valley Region hosted its’ Regional Volleyball Competition. There were 12 teams and 60 skills athletes.
GENERAL INFORMATION
· November 5th! We have secured a site for a mini-Regional to include: cycling, bocce, softball (team & skills) and soccer (team & skills). We will have further information in approximately 1-2 days. Please reserve this date if you have a team or athletes in these sports. This event will be in Northern Westchester, (FDR Park – right off the Taconic Pkwy) in Yorktown) as that is the only facility available at this time. Orange, Rockland, and Dutchess Counties….please take notice.
· If you have any athletes that might be in need of a motor activities program, please be aware that we are offering an Adaptive Event on November 19th. Contact Linda for details @ (845) 878-9722.
· We are hosting a Unified Bowling Tournament in Westchester. Contact us if you have 115+ average S.O. bowlers. The tournament will be held Sunday Dec. 11, 2005 at White Plains Bowl at 9:30 am.
· Rockland County will be hosting a fundraiser on January 29th, 2006 at the Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack. The play being presented will be “Moon over Buffalo”. Tickets will go on sale sometime in November.
· Plans are on the way for the 17th Annual Bresnan Bike Tour. The riders leave from Patterson, NY and finish over 200 miles later in Bennington, VT. The tour will take place June 2 – 4. For more information you can contact Maria Madero at the Hudson Valley office.
