UPCOMING EVENTS
1 March – Registrations will be mailed for upcoming Regional East
Mandatory Time Trials and Regional Spring Games West.

2 March – 19:30 meeting at USMA to solidify event coordination and
finite details of Regional Spring Games West.

4 March – Local Basketball Competition – Somers
Registrations thus far have in excess of 20 teams and 100
skills athletes slated to compete.

5 March – Butternut Regional Ski Competition – slated to begin at
noon.


APRIL 1, 2006 – SUMMER SPORTS CONFERENCE: WHITE PLAINS H.S.
11:00am –1:30pm Registration Drop-Off/Info
11:30am-1:30pm Lunch & General Session/Prot. Beh
11:30am-1:30pm Lunch & Rule Changes/Adv. Coach
1:30pm- 5:00pm New Coach Sport Specific Training
in both Track & Field and/or Aquatics
*** Each coach that has an athlete that will be
participating in a Summer Sport (i.e. Spring Games)
MUST attend this conference to turn in your Spring
Games registration.



PAST EVENTS:

25 February – This past Saturday, the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry
was host to 75 potential athletes aged 3 – 6 partaking in
the Junior games event. This non-competitive event is
designed to offer the parents a day of respite and
networking with peers, as well as offering their children
exposure to S.O. and others with the same or similar

CALENDAR ADDITIONS:


MARCH 12, 2006 – Aquatics Competition @ Dutchess YMCA. This
competition is open to all athletes in the Hudson
Valley Region. Registrations were mailed.

MAY 6, 2006 - Regional Spring Games: WEST – West Point will be
Host to athletes from Rockland, Orange, Sullivan and
Ulster in both Track & Field and Aquatics.

SEPTEMBER 9, 2006 – Regional Fall Games @ FDR State Park.


GENERAL INFORMATION



· Plans are on the way for the 17th Annual Bresnan Bike Tour. The riders leave from Patterson, NY and finish over 200 miles later in Bennington, VT. The tour will take place June 9-11. *** PLEASE NOTE THIS DATE CHANGE! For more information you can contact Maria Madero at the Hudson Valley office.
