Da’ Bills!!!! 4 and 0, not since 1992…who knew? Certainly not I.
Things could not be better in this little corner of misplaced western NY!
Well, back to reality…Fall Games is days away, and we are in a mad rush to locate even the simplest of items in the new digs…life is good.
Here’s a look at what’s upcoming in the Valley…

3-5 October, 2008 – SONY Fall Games – This event is in like three days. See you there!
11 October, 2008 – Regional Golf – Mohansic Golf Course – Yorktown
This event was postponed due to weather and has been rescheduled
for the date listed above. Registration is currently closed.
25 – October, 2008 – Regional Volleyball Skills – JF Kennedy Catholic HS
8 November, 2008 – Winter Coaches Conference – Taconic DDSO – Dutchess
This conference will offer certification to new coaches in FLOOR
HOCKEY, BASKETBALL & AQUATICS. Additionally, we will offer
advanced coaches certification in health, wellness and nutrition
offered by Dr. Mary Rodda-Gaudino. These sessions will include
lunch for all coaches and will begin at a very reasonable 10:00am.
Please alert your staff/coaches to the offerings and make
arrangements for their attendance. Further details to follow in the
next update.

PAST EVENTS
27 September, 2008 – LOCAL Dutchess Bowling – Mardi Bobs – Poughkeepsie
This event took place over the weekend. Final numbers have not
yet been submitted, however the event director suggested the
event was well attended and the athletes had a great time.
Divisioning was excellent and competition fierce! Thanks to Kathi
for putting in yet another stellar effort at organizing this event!

It is very likely that another TENNIS program will be starting in mid-Westchester this Winter. We will keep you posted as to its progress! This program is soon to be UP and running. If there is interest, call the office at (845) 765-2497
DEVELOPMENT
The 2008 5th Annual Marist Miles for Medals walk is upon us. It will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008. Registration is at 9:00AM and the walk is at 10:00AM.
Please join us for a day of fun! Games, entertainment, raffles, breakfast, music and Athletes will compete at end of walk in a game of basketball.
Registration fee is only $10 and this money will be added to the great incentive prizes that will be given.
