Weekly Update 10/15/07

From Curry Motors

PROGRAM UPDATE

15 October, 2007

Fall is here! Yee-ha! I can finally break out the good clothes and start wearing layers again. I love the cold weather.

That means that Fall Games has come and gone, the athletes have collected their fair share of medals and we are well on our way into the program year! Awesome stuff…see below for what’s up and coming in the Valley…

UPCOMING EVENTS:

October 13 – Local Bowling Westchester-Putnam - White Plains
The 3rd Annual Lauren Rizzetta Memorial Bowling
Tournament is held in honor of one of West-Put’s
athletes that passed away far before her prime. We hold
this tournament in her honor in conjunction with South
East Consortium, where Lauren was an active participant.
This tournament will host about 300 athletes throughout
the morning and afternoon sessions.

October 14 – Local Bowling – Ulster – Saugerties Bowling Club
This is a brand new event in Ulster County this year. This
event should see approximately 25 athletes competing in
bowling.

October 27 – Regional Volleyball Skills – Bedford Middle School Gym
This event has branched off on its’ own from the
Volleyball Regional by pure necessity, as these
competitions have grown. Based on last years numbers,
the expectation is such that we should have about 50+
athletes at this competition.
