PAST EVENTS

April 21, 2007 – Regional EAST Time Trials – at Putnam Valley HS 8:30a

The Time Trials were held on a nice sunny day at
Putnam Valley HS, our more than gracious host. Over
500 athletes showed up to partake in this very
necessary pre-heating ritual. The event lasted only
3.5 hours and saw over 1500 events recorded in
accurate fashion. This will certainly aid in a fair
competition at Spring Games.
Thanks to all the coaches and volunteers whom put
their time and efforts into bettering the outcome of
the upcoming Spring Games East.

May 5, 2007 – Regional Spring Games WEST at West Point – 8:30am

Spring Games West played host to over 300 athletes.
West Point played host to the event in grand manner, as
always. Two bands, helicopters, skydivers, pep squads,
mascots, and hundreds of volunteers…the energy was
boundless!
This event was a success largely due to the planning on
the part of the cadet that ran it with a little outside help
from our key volunteers from both sides of the river.
Thanks to all of you that came for the day! Medals and
smiles were ready reminders of just what it is that we
do!

PSSL – Pioneer Sports School League

Volleyball Tournament will be hosted at Mamaroneck on:
Wednesday, 23 May, 2007.
Ardsley finished their maiden cycle successfully. In speaking with the coach, he found it a wonderful experience. The parents are in full support of the program. They are in for next year and will more than likely expand to two cycles.

Washingtonville has shown interest in joining the Pioneer league in the 2007-8 season, as has the Pearl River district. I will keep everyone posted as to any new developments as they occur. For now, all remains status quo.
